Paid $8.50 per hour, no benefits. No work/life balance, (clopening) when you close the store and then open in the morning, exhausting.
For example, there is a monthly Pizza day hosted by the company but only permanent staff are allowed to eat. Candles are gifted to permanent staff while temporary are not even allowed to buy at discounted rated.

There are no company meetings
There are supposed to be meetings? Never had them.

Retail associates usually work alone. Breakroom is a metal chair with a microwave in the stockroom.
The employees at lower levels are not appreciated throughout the company or even in regions or districts. Only upper level executives are acknowledged for promotions and district and regional managers rarely show up for meetings
