Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Paid $8.50 per hour, no benefits. No work/life balance, (clopening) when you close the store and then open in the morning, exhausting.
For example, there is a monthly Pizza day hosted by the company but only permanent staff are allowed to eat. Candles are gifted to permanent staff while temporary are not even allowed to buy at discounted rated.
Pay us a livable wage if you want better sales people

They cut alot of your salary when you cannot make it to work, as well as only giving you a really really small percentage of the sales.
The pay is horrendous especially when you factor in the amount of time spent on your feet. Many times we did not get actual breaks due to understaffing. After two years without taking a day off I was told that I had a fourth of a sick day and half of a vacation day.

The compensation was increased later after I left and was fair rate. Before that the pay was minuscule.
A ten cent per hour maximum pay increase is nothing short of offensive. Need I say more?
