  • Flexibility is dependent on the position and a particular customer's requirements. On many of our contracts we have the flexibility to work with employees to shift hours as long as the employee meets their hours requirement within a pay period and are available when the customer needs them.

  • ZelTech provides all employees with a handbook that outlines all of the company policies and programs which every employee must sign an acknowledgment form for. Also, during on-boarding, and at times through refresher training, ZelTech provides training on specific zero tolerance policies (topics include harassment, inappropriate use of computer systems, false time charging). During on-boarding these specific policies are highlighted and new hires sign acknowledgment forms. Depending on the severity of the infraction, ZelTech can respond through progressive discipline (Verbal Counselling, Documented Memorandums, Suspension/Firing) or through immediate termination (usually when a zero tolerance infraction occurs). ZelTech's goals it that everyone is informed of all expectations (through detailed on-boarding, constant supervisor feedback, formalized feed back/annual appraisals) so no one inadvertently breaches corporate policy or is blind-sided by the HR response to the situation.

  • In three words ZelTech was transparent, efficient and inquisitive. They were transparent on job requirements, benefits and salary. They were efficient on asking questions pertinent to the position I interviewed for and drawing out my experience to see how well suited I was to meet the positions duty requiremetns. And lastly, inquisitive by asking about my future goals both near and long-term. During discussions of the later, ZelTech was able to tie in areas where their company culture and benefits programs could assist me in reaching my goals.

  • Be honest and transparent on your actual experience and skills. The quickest way to have an unfavorable interview is through exaggeration or inflation of either. For many of ZelTech's positions training is provided and during a technical interview it can usually be determined if someone does not have the skills or breath of experience that they claim.

  • ZelTech’s Internship Program provides high school and college students an opportunity to enhance their classroom instruction with mentorship opportunities and practical learning experiences in a work environment. ZelTech supports both internal internships and those cosponsored with our customers. Internship programs span a broad range of interest areas to include business, engineering, chemistry, software development, modeling and simulation, and operations support. For cosponsored internships, we work with our customers to support interns on Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE) programs supporting the government with leading edge academic research in areas of need while providing benefits to interns such as security clearances, research supporting graduate theses/dissertations, and job opportunities after graduation. ZelTech internships are typically paid positions and are a great way to introduce students to our work environment as a DOD contractor.
