  • How would you compare interviewing at ZipRecruiter to other places you've interviewed?
Great process. No BS. Swift follow-up.
    Answered 5 years ago
Much easier than some other places I've worked, but depends on the role you're shooting for and who the hiring manager is.

It's pretty standard. Hiring managers do not go out of their way to ask you difficult or confusing questions.

It is easily understood - and transparent as well as being fair. I was impressed at how sensitive ZR is about a candidate's time and emotional investment.

  • What questions do they ask during the interview process at ZipRecruiter?
Depends on the role. I have a pretty unique role so my questions were tailored to my responsibilities.
    Answered 5 years ago
Beyond the soft-skill screenings from the recruiters, it really depends on what you're interviewing for, but whatever it is you're going to want to be able to tell a story about your previous experience and tie it into a pitch for how it applies to the job you want.
    Answered 7 years ago
This will vary by role and responsibilities, but there is a standard set of questions they abide by.

  • What should I wear for an interview at ZipRecruiter?
Dress to impress during the interview, but once you're hired, "business casual" is way overdressed.
    Answered 7 years ago
A blazer, jeans, and close-toed shoes.

Most people on the Tech Team wear jeans and a t-shirt. If interviewing for that team, wear whatever makes you comfortable.
