He has been the Chairman of Rockwell Collins Inc. since November 11, 2015. He has been a Director of Rockwell Collins Inc. since August 2013. He served as a Director of Caterpillar Global Mining LLC from July 24, 2008 to July 8, 2011 and Bucyrus International Inc., from July 24, 2008 to July 8th 0211. He is a Member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). He serves on the Board of Governors for the Aerospace Industries Association, is a member of The Business Council and serves on the Board of Directors of FIRST??? (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the Hawkeye Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
