The compant itself has treated me well. The pay, benefits, all great. However my recent general manager has caused severe problems. The General Manager needs to learn how to motivate his staff. There is not a single person at my store who says they look forward to working with him. Nine times out of ten people are talking about how unsafe they feel in his presence.

I think having outdated methods of running checkouts hinders, and sets up staff for failure. I understand the purpose of it all. But Hobby Lobby does not allow scanners to be used on the most basic of items. Most times departments aren't on the item, and cashiers typically don't know where it's from
