Hobby Lobby Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Nice join package and good bonus

Above average pay scale for retail work.

It covers everything I need.

Part time I don't get any compensation

As part-time worker, I do not see much of a benefit package

The pay is good overall. Clinic benefit.

Does not apply to me

Review from Customer Support Dept

My pay is reasonable for what I do.

Overall good in all categories.

I had no compensation, no one cares for the workers there ..

Im not sure i havent used them

I dont get any benefits except employee discount

Not sure yet,need more infor

Employee discount was a nice perk.

Getting paid hourly seems fair. Yet the work load is not evenly distributed. I get paid the same a cashier even though I am assigned the physical labor jobs at the store because my manager seemply deems it so. Where is management accountibilty?

Very fair and very benificial

Review from Sales Dept

Paid vacation and our Christmas bonus.

Review from Sales Dept

Paid vacation and bonuses for sure

Medication coverage and co oays

Great healthcare and great 401(k) matching dollar for dollar

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Eye insurance would be nice

I was part time so I had no benefits.

Because my first my manager told me not to even worry about the work man comps insurance because it ain't worth anything being part time

Review from Sales Dept

My manager used me not beinh full time as leverage. Underworks the full time people and overworks the part time people because we are paid less. Then tries to threaten not getting me to full time when he's in a bad mood that day.

Not have my hours cut more than a newer person, or get a call while on my way there telling me not to come for that day. Its unethical and disrespectful.

So i can afford to get myself the proper treatment for myself after all the things ive tried to just look past. Its now catching up to me. And frankly, i wanna be there for my kids more...not work more...not after 18 yrs...

Review from Sales Dept

We don't get anything unless a full time position except for a 15 percent discount

seen as a perspn and not a spot to fill. Seen for what I can offer. and egual pay to the others who do the exact same as me

A competitive rate of pay, concern for errors that inflict pain and suffering on employees, and a lessoning of corporate greed.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The employees at Hobby lobby work hard for their money. Unload trucks, then sort out the products so as to stock on shelves, then have to be cashiers. They Unload the product then have to push it out the door, then end of night have to re-organize the store for next day. Hire enough people, not fair!

Don't cover vision under the insurance

There is an extremely toxic work environment. Management doesn't listen to the problems or try to help create solutions.

Crazy schedule, no breaks, not appreciated for effort

The fear of making a mistake permeates your being therefore it is easier to make mistakes. No amount of pay can take that kind of stress away. Some of the rules need to be reworked to value the human aspect.

I feel undervalued because I was lied to about my promotion to full time. It was handed away to someone else after I'd filled everything out, corporate had sent me 401k paperwork and everything else. Then it was just stripped from me like nothing happened.

Undervalued because management is abusing power

To be treated as an adult, with respect and consideration.

Because it is a box store, noone pays a proper amount for the work.

More hours, 13 an hour means nothing with 13 hours on a schedule.

Show that you care, not onlybthe few but the many
