Pays low and expects perfection. You'll be belittled for minor errors and asked me to transfer my assistant to a different store because her weight wasnt approproate for a high end simon mall location. They will insult you and create an environment that pressures you to work off the clock.

They really care about customers and eachother. They are selfless and put others before them. They love the people aspect of their job and live in poverty to bring a smile to our customers faces.

Respect retail employees, don't allow toxic managers to thrive, create an environemnt with enough hours, know its a out progress not perfection and get closer to paying living wages. I had to climb into 10 foot lofts and my DM often discriminated against certain employees.

In the workplace its increasingly more difficult and the demand for perfection is to high. A customer could rate an employee a 10 out of 10 but of they dont recommend hot topic that reflects negatively on sales associates and puts their raises and job accountability at risk.
