Hot Topic Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

we try to get the most done and hit our deadlines

Sales associates and assistant managers work very hard and achieve many goals in our district.

Coordination and anything that involves a group that works together to get tasks done

we share common interests and help each other out when needed.

They're the greatest. They keep things interesting.

They're kind and understanding most of the time

They actually teach you and help

Everyome can be themselves and not hide anything

We help each other when struggling

When they go home at the end of the day

Review from Sales Dept

I love working with my coworkers, they’re so much fun and most of them are all a pleasure to work wit

Drive, communication, clear directive, clear

They do not pertain to associates but there message and information is given to us by manager and slso we have mail outs that we read and sign

They're all so supportive and nice. Everyone gets along great and if there usually is any issues they get sorted out quickly. I love them all so much and cherish them, I've made life-long friendships here.

The workers are communicative, and our DM is always willing to hear us out

i love my co-workers, Hot Topic attracts a certain sort of person and those people are usually fantastic and loyal workers

Review from Sales Dept

The teams that work inside the stores are usually the best. They are the ones making a difference.

I’ve met some of my best friends through this company! I’ve also never worked with people who have as much passion and intensity as I have for performing like I have with my HT te

Coworkers are amazing, kind, and hardworking.

Everyone has a unique personality

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

we need new management and to be paid more for the kind of work we are doing

Better reliability and understanding of boundaries

Work as an actual team and not act like we are in high school

Be more friendly and understanding

Review from Sales Dept

I put less of the blame on my coworkers and more of the blame on the lack of training they receive. Management/district managers need to actually set standards for new hires instead of just hiring seasonals to do halfassed work then get rid of them

Respect, and professionalism. Its fun to be friends but its a workplace

actually being nice to each other and working together as a team instead of pitting us against each other

Togetherness, everybody's againsy each ofher due to the high stakes and competitiveness that we have to display if we want MORE HOURS.

Review from Sales Dept

Cliques and gossip should not be allowed

Do work. Stop trying to impress by acting like it's a one man show. Working as a team brings higher sales.

mechanics should know how to do mechanic stuff, not filters and light bulbs, this place lets people skate by and puts the workload on other people, this makes it stressful and unsatisfying, no one should have to do 2 jobs based on skill.

Grow up and work at work

I don't really talk go anyone, and when I do, they share my sentiments on management.

they need to take accountability for their actions

Everyone just wore out all the time

They could improve on social skills and basic compassion.

Review from Sales Dept

I have no issues with my coworkers at all

Never had meetings in my store

Review from Sales Dept

Better communication, more overlapping schedules and more trust in the team.

Review from Sales Dept

They are all 16-17 and don’t socialize.
