¿Por qué te sientes infravalorado y qué te haría sentir mejor con respecto a tu compensación?

Its really hard to move up with REI. The longer you are there, the more you feel stuck and under-appreciated.

I would feel better if my annual salary had even remotely kept up with inflation, but instead I am basically making less money than I was 3 years ago. They also keep changing our benefits and bonus structure in ways that are unfavorable to the employees.

Our pay at HQ has not kept up with increases at retail. We are an absolute afterthought at the individual contributor level. Directors and Managers are paid well, but individual buyers and analysts get the shaft.

Leadership team does not listen to front line employees. Higher hourly pay, guaranteed schedule, better health care plan

I felt undervalued because I came to REI with 20 plus years of hiking and backpacking experience in the white mountains of New Hampshire and that experience was used to move young people that came to REI through the management chain.

I waa not able to pay my team what they deserved.

Instead of investing in their existing staff, REI has chosen to open five new stores along with a distribution centre this past year. They laid off 8% of headquarter jobs, and 2% (275) of employees this year. They are hiring 1300 new people, all while saying they aren't profitable.

There is a tendency to not accommodate needs of employees.

Revisión Review del Departamento de Ventas · Publicado hace 4 años

The pay is garbage and any complaints or concerns get ignored. Try to distract by pointing out diversity and pronoun usage. PAY US DECENTLY.

They tell you fairy tales to keeo you on. Working at REI is like having a toxic boyfriend that says he will change then turns around and cheats on you.
