Great people, fun team environment.
MOst of them are very experienced and good team players
Quite pleasant to one another.
At our core we are technically smart and capable of achieving great things

They are all smart and knowledgable about outdoor gear
They are nice people. Most of those I currently work with actually want to do their job. We work as a team: support, encourage, and challenge each other to give the best service and make sure product is available to our customers.
Everyone works together and we care about each other. Anyone will go out of their way to help a team member.
Helpful, kind and friendly like minded outdoor Enthusiasts!
They feel like family, and we all work together helping each other
Comraderie and energetic staff but young and inexperienced.
we complement each other very well. And even though we're all getting the same raw deal from the top down, everybody still does their best work.
My co-workers are supportive and understanding
We all hate working there equally.

The good workers, REI lets people come to work and do nothing and pay them for it and they don't get in trouble. They know what they do lotta nothing.
Review from Operations Dept
My team cares, a lot. They're well-informed, hard-working, respectful, fun, and nature lovers. People don't realize how much REI employees practice what they preach and work behind the scenes to make the shopping experience what it is.

Not waste so much time on bonding meetings to supposedly encourage improvement feeback at the same time they punish employees for having negative feeback particularly about the terrible software they consistently buy without consulting the relevant team first. Our tools are very outdated
Work as a team, not for their own benefit, communicate more effectively
Culture of meetings. Endless Teams meetings to have a presence (on the corporate level). Depending on department or project folks may not have a lot of work to do and so maintaining the visual presence and "corporate appearance" is an important thing here.
Actual supervision on the floor. Wonder if the managers will ever stop hiding in the basement.
Being treated better by managers
Every man for himself mentality needs to stop.
We would work together better if our management would schedule the right amount of technical workers for the tech shop workload.
