Mental health investments, generous discount, free food and drinks, good health care. Benefits are the one fantastic thing about Starbucks.

The Healthcare is fantastic, and is a game changer that allowed me and my spouse to medically transition (at least while it's still possible in this country).

For myself and the other shifts we would all like our full time hours like we were hired for not part time hours.

My big gripe with pay at starbucks is that you make the same amount of $ as the laziest one of your co-workers

Revisión Publicado hace 3 años

Hours significantly dropped and dont qualify for benefits anymore. Guaranteed hours and a more consistent schedule would help

Revisión Publicado hace 3 años

Challenging the status quo. Acting with transparency, dignity, and respect. Performance driven through the lense of humanity. 11 years partner, completely burnt out. Some my doing, lots of lack of responsibilty from leadership failed my dedication in our company as tbey have failed to uphold it.

Revisión Publicado hace 3 años

Anyone who actually leads with the mission and values. They are not transparent, do not act with dignity, and they lack respect for tenure

Revisión Publicado hace 3 años

Baristas run around on their feet for 8 hours and get treated poorly by management and customers. Minimum wage does not suffice. Also "competitive pay" after two years I was given a penny above minimum wage.

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

Baristas are dealing with rude customers, putting away truck orders, doing food pulls, and knowing the full beverage menu. It's very frustrating seeing hours being cut because of labor percentages. I feel that if you have money to help with medical expenses, you have enough to pay them more.

No the manager of my store makes me feel bad about myself and makes feeling like going into work a challenge

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

If the 1% who owned 80% of the company's wealth did better to support the people who actually make you the money.

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

We are expected to work through conditions that affect us mentally and physically yet we do not make a living wage. Our hours are subject to get cut down if our store isn't hitting huge profit margins. We are expected to have outstanding customer service for less than a living wage.

Im ovwrworked and not compensated for it. They want a "lean" manufacturing plant but it makes workers burnt out

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

Individual contributors are simply not valued in Starbucks technology teams

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

Being paid a living wage. There is a misconception that we simply pour coffee when in reality that is (ironically) the most uncommon thing we do. I’m currently seeking medical treatment for permanent back issues I have developed from extensive labor- all for *slightly above minimum wag

Revisión Publicado hace 4 años

I noticably try a lot harder than some of my co-workers to go above and beyond for customers and earn tips for the tip jar and then when the end of the week tips are distributed and I am making a lot less than I should, raises concern to me that tips should not be sorted that way.
