Starbucks Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

We can all work together well and have fun doing it.

Upbeat friendly Willing to learn and teach and helpful

Review from Sales Dept

they taught me to be the best of myself

lively, positive, caring. The only reason I don't quit.

Some come in with great positivity and others have to help lift them up.

The Baristas and 2 of the 3 shift advisors- We're resilient. The core of us lean on each other for support whenever and however we can. Its not easy at all, but we try.

A diverse team of employees all with different backgrounds all willing to work together using their individual and shared experiences.

Everyone is fun and kind, really patient and just overall nice people.

Everyone is friendly and you can have a really good chat throughout the day no matter who is on!

communicating and showing up when they are needed and being reliable

helpful and very patient and nice

Most of the people on my team are incredible and i love working with them. Almost everyone works hard and does their best.

Review from Sales Dept

Staff are reliable and mostly feiendly

The inclusion of all partners

They are truly a caring bunch

Very informative and fun to see coworkers.

Review from Product Dept

Great attitudes and they enjoy coming to work

They all work toegther very well and give it their best and have good communication

Review from Product Dept

smile on work time and help each other

The comradery. Starbucks employs a large number of disabled partners in both the autism and ADHD spectrum. This makes being high masking around customers easier since we do not have to continue masking with out team leader to a lower burn out and autistic/sensory shut downs and burn outs.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

They need to repect other people and have better work ethics.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We need a better manager, along with more responsibility being put on each other.

Communication. Better equipment that doesnt break down so frequently. Better training. Less turnover.

Teambuilding! There is not that much communication and if there is it's usually with a really passive aggressive tone of voice. Where I work at its truly a mess and they expect for new baristas to move as fast as they did. knowing that we had little to no training.

Management praises and supports bullies and complainers, they never investigate to see if complaints are valid or if they are just believing anyone who wants to use HR to harass their coworkers. Spouses should not be hired to the same teams.

We fould work better together if we stopped spreading drama in the work place and talking bad about people after they have left!!!

Detailed training and management that supports the needs of the employees and store

Stop working in silos and been open to your team members and respect your peers

They have to improve in everything

My coworkers are stressed. I know theyre good people but this company turns good, healthy individuals, to stressed, and unhappy.

We are all just exhausted.

They need better trainers. They just throw you in a spot and expect you to learn on your own

Most managers have given up. It is to hard to be everything and work the floor.

Review from Admin Dept

Old thinking permeates the company culture. The company needs to embrace agile values and team responsibility over leader responsibility. Going to production, for example, requires too many approvals.

Review from Engineering Dept

Ultimately I think it falls on the leadership to encourage buy in and drive, as well as to establish accountability.

Review from Sales Dept

I could imagine that if my coworkers received pay suitable for adults, they would be more likely to act like adults.

Review from Sales Dept

Stop standing around and do something

Review from Operations Dept

our store is suffering from a morale issue that stems from poor management. until the root issues are addressed nothing will get better

Review from Sales Dept

As stated before, better communication, attendance, work ethic, etc.

Review from Marketing Dept

Nobody helps new employees when we need it the most
