As a shift at my location for 8/9 years our store has come a long way & with new shifts coming onto the team with a great understanding on the job it will help feel that much more at ease wotb how the store is going throughout the day.
It was a really good and very
Good Communication with their team
Most are experienced but my problem is with one not
The team are all inviting and always have patience. They never shout or degrade you when theres a mistake. Its sorted constructively with a view of preventing thenissue in future
Holding team members and leads accountable and actually learn how to be a leader, take some leadership classes.
everything they can barely be on bar let alone manage
Leadership team as in corp. not my team at my location. Taking care of the workers.
Scheduling and staffing and covering when no one else can come in. Still needs a lot of training.
Hearing their employees and acting change, listening to us and not siding with the customers, listening to their employees and understanding, we are their backbone, not their customers
Like going to school for free pretry much
Medical insurance and accured vacation and pto.
I utilize the health care for my family of five
Benefits. Pay is terrible and
Stock program, RRSP matching and tuition reimbursement
For myself and the other shifts we would all like our full time hours like we were hired for not part time hours.
better beneifts such as memberships
To have a good working team and people who care about their job and put in effort to make it better.

I feel like for the workload, the pay is too low. However the work environment makes up for this

We can all work together well and have fun doing it.
Upbeat friendly Willing to learn and teach and helpful
Review from Sales Dept
they taught me to be the best of myself
lively, positive, caring. The only reason I don't quit.
Some come in with great positivity and others have to help lift them up.
They need to repect other people and have better work ethics.

We need a better manager, along with more responsibility being put on each other.
Communication. Better equipment that doesnt break down so frequently. Better training. Less turnover.
Teambuilding! There is not that much communication and if there is it's usually with a really passive aggressive tone of voice. Where I work at its truly a mess and they expect for new baristas to move as fast as they did. knowing that we had little to no training.
Management praises and supports bullies and complainers, they never investigate to see if complaints are valid or if they are just believing anyone who wants to use HR to harass their coworkers. Spouses should not be hired to the same teams.
I love my customers and ability to interact with different people every day.
when the shift starts they are all professionals, they don't even care the mistake because they believe we are all humans, we are pone to mistake and that's fine.
My team's energy and perseverance despite hard times.
Some co workers are always glad to see me.
The happy faces of workers and custmers

Actually doing what we say. Really caring enough to spend the money and try. Spend the energy trying to please, conform, or dominate doing actually meaningful work. Stop abusing and using good and well meaning people. Appreciate them. Pay them loads more. Reduce ridic cost of insurance.
Pay, work-life balance, labor needs
Tenure benefits and simplifying literally all aspects of the business. We are behind the times
More resources, more fun events and more wfh days
Bring leaders with proper technical accumen
It was very relaxed and comfortable
Structured process. Thats what makes it easy and clean.
nothing at all they just ask abut my experience and one of my manger ask me, why customer always choose the starbucks as their coffee shop, i said the coffee itself, but my manager told is not about the coffee its abut the experience
The lead I had worked with back then was clear, friendly, and open.
My store Maneger is so sweet and very kind . I like her.

More organizing, less interviews, better criteria, less bs in interview final recs
We will hire anyone, so the team suffers because people are there for the free drinks
Bipoc focus has clearly shifted the landscape of those wh were being groomed into future roles. Spent 5 years deving for DM, sent through training; was even going to get a tla, but the procoess was handled with the most biased decision making i have ever scene: i auestioned if the pendulums would go
Transparency, dignity, respect, missions and values

The recruiters have no understanding of the positions they recruit for.
Talking to our customers and making their day
Being a barista and having a team thatbsupports each other.
I enjoy having the friendships i've gained through the years of being at my store
the environment and the positive thinking
Customers, coworkers, experience, friends and family
Starbucks is focusing on the wrong things. Writing on cups and promoting for here is not important right now. Pay your workers, don't bust your unions, and have a CEO that doesn't need to private jet to work every day.
Well having enough people to staff during busy times and not left hanging to work 50+ customers on a two man team
Hire better staff members who are willing to put in effort to make the comapny grow and have a good work environment.
Review from Customer Support Dept
The part that is going wrong is the negatibe working environment where i feel like workers separte into groups and judge others
Sometimes we run out of items and our cash registers don't accept any Starbucks gift cards. People get mad because of that and even one guy shouted at me because I told them we don't accept Starbucks gift cards because they haven't been working with our machine lately.
Striving to meet the expectations of our customers, continuous improvement
Getting to interact with great people everyday
Changes in work environment thanks to social pressure
Review from Operations Dept
I love the fact that they are returning to basics and know that the barista's are the backbone of the entire company.

My co-workers, the fast-paced environment, and making my community a little brighter.
