Leadership ran the company into the ground only to end up stealing from employees and giving it to themselves for doing such a bad job.

Building team members with skills to succeed at their job. Giving hours to secure employees that are contributing to the stores overall success. Instead of favoured employees. Actually work the floor and make the customers their priority. With reduced hours all managers need to be hands on.

Leadership needed to have a firm vision and stick to it. Every year it seemed the company was moving in a new direction. One year they would hire a bunch of f/t workers the next they would lay them off.

The upper management of Toys R Us is the WORST! They are the reason Toys R Us is closing. The leadership needs to focus on things that matter instead of trying to compare us to Target and Walmart and Amazon. They are not the competition. Store leadership on the other hand is the best you can find

Communication with employees and acknowledging the time and effort we put in. Doesn't have to happen always but sometimes is nice. They need to know we are all people and should be treated fairly not make ppl feel belittled.
