I like my work and that gives me satisfaction. If I were interested in advancement I've been shown, time after time, it's not what you know, it's who you know. If I could advance they would just hire an executive's favorite babysitter or something.

They are very flexible for me and my family.

The are for the most part a good group, they just aren't especially receptive to making my portion easier.

They appear to log on at 10am 3pm and 5pm. They aren't even on their teams except for these times.

I think I'm making the lowest salary of all corporate people (that I know). That really isn't fair. The 401k also isn't matched.

I like doing my work, even though I've never received any semblance of recognition, I know I'm doing my part for the success of Destination Pet.

I only really get satisfaction from doing a good job. My supervisor and others that work directly with me know I do a good job but nobody else really.

I feel like all the executive team knows each other and don't really care if they are doing a good job, they just blame it on the people who aren't in the "club."

We recently lost our entire middle management team, and it was my belief that it was due to the fact that they were hiring their friends instead of qualified candidates. The new leadership team just did the exact same thing without considering internal candidates or qualified external candidates.

I asked for a raise since I took over many tasks from highly paid employees that had left or been laid off. I was told by my supervisor that it was fair, but I never actually got an increase or even an increase when I reached my two-year anniversary.

I really did believe in Destination Pet, I've seen bad actor after bad actor coming in to drain money out of DP but then I was told the new executives were going to help get us back on track. But then they just started laying people off and hiring and promoting their own friends. I feel betrayed.
