Destination Pet Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My current GM is fantastic. I don't know much about the c-suite for the company but from what I've seen in other aspects of the company, it seem like Dest Pet is ambitious.

The thing I like best about the leadership team is their speedy reply.

They consistently ask for feedback from the staff and when feedback is given, they take it into consideration. We know we are heard.

Review from Operations Dept

Always keeping us in the loop on communication an meetings

Review from Operations Dept

They answer in a timely manner, and help me when I need it

Push you to be your best, supportive, assertive, focused, driven, give praise when praise is due, gives feed back good or bad but overall ultimately gives motivation to be the best you can in your role.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I like the innovative ideas they've worked to implement into the company this year. I also believe a lot of the leadership team truly cares about animals, which is so important to me!

Review from Customer Success Dept

they are good at listening and hearing together

Review from Executive Dept

They have facilitated company growth.

they are open to opinions and trying new things!

The vision is clear and the changes in how we execute towards that goal change appropriately with the success/failure of efforts on a monthly basis.

Review from IT Dept

When they respond in a timely manner to emails or problems

I'm not entirely sure who falls into the bucket of 'my' leadership team. However, generally I would say my leadership team is reasonable and understanding which is helpful in getting through the day-to-day.

The team I am on I feel so appreciated!

Review from IT Dept

they get back to me fast.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My manager is absolutely amazing, and the the most communicative and transparent manager I have had the pleasure of being under.

They are always available, motivated, and listen.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My leaders have been very supportive and caring with me. I had some issues with my first position as CSR and she (Brianna Bryce) found me a position that is more accommodating to me and my physical needs. I am very appreciative. My new manager TJ Shaw is also very supportive with my well being

Review from Customer Success Dept

They have drive to better the corporation.

They are positive, realistic and supportive

Review from IT Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

BETTER COMMUNICATION, more empathy, NO MORE NEGLECT

listening to employees concerns, staffing appropriately(more staff in centers)

Try to retain the staff that you currently have and pay them more rather than expanding to new companies, and forgetting about the ones that are here.

Review from Operations Dept

Supporting GM's. HR needs to support the GM's more. The Handbook needs to be clear and HR as well as the employees need to adhere to it and not deviate randomly. Corporate needs to offer more support since we cannot get a lot of things done without them.

Review from Operations Dept

Everything. My practice manager needs to be replaced. She is the absolute worst.

Review from Operations Dept

They need to be able to provide RM/GM/CM with adequate information in a proper time. Especially financial information; if GM/CM are expected to run the facilities as it was their own. GM/CM need to know where they are doing well and where they need to improve in the eyes of DP.

we haven't seen much of the leadership team from cooperate except when they are on their way out. make time to listen to each team member. we are the ones out on the front line. all the changing systems make our everyday workflow more complicated than needs to be

Review from Customer Success Dept

Would love to see the leadership team focus more on their employees and building a supportive culture rather than pushing employees do whatever it takes to meet outrageous goals, regardless of the the pressures placed upon them

The leadership team needs to be better at supporting and communicating with the centers and clinics. There needs to be a clear hierarchy of supportive teams.

Listening to center managers and providing support.

Review from Operations Dept

Communication, understanding our unique situation and needs, hiring an executive team who understands the industry well and has actually worked in the field.

Communication seems to be lacking between corporate and center management

Review from Operations Dept

Understand the actual day to day function of a vetinary hospital with a limited staff

Getting more in touch with the "boots on the ground" workers.

Review from Operations Dept

I think overall communication with new employees being attained during acquisition. I feel like I can ask questions, but don't always get clear answer's and don't always get the help that is needed to do things the way Dest Pet prefers, or when being overwhelmed with things.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel like all the executive team knows each other and don't really care if they are doing a good job, they just blame it on the people who aren't in the "club."

Review from HR Dept

Increasing pay to at least match the rate of inflation and give more assistance to existing facilities as opposed to prioritizing acquisition of new facilities.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Hiring managers who have compassion and wants to see their team be successful. That the managers can communicate effectively and make sure the team is heard. When staff has issues for them to be heard and addressed not told we need to have grace for nastiness from the manager.

Review from Operations Dept

communication, empowering people, stop bullying

communication, support, ask for input, inclusion
