Overall, the experience has been very inconsistent and extremely stressful. Teachers are made to feel that they must perform perfectly to the guidelines every day, the company is obsessed with sticking to an exact lesson schedule, rendering the work environment miserable.

Interviewing was very nice, as they made the job sound really great and seemed like everyone would be very supportive.

Twenty dollars an hour is not sufficient pay for a certified teacher, especially when you also have to spend your own time prepping adaptations of their poorly written content.

They need to stop micromanaging and let teachers just teach. They also need to have reasonable expectations for classroom performance, both of teachers and students. Academic coaches should be people with at least 10 years of actual teaching experience.
