The culture and environment is good, the people are good. The leadership needs to step up and realise they can't be yes men to any request and that we need to innovate or we will die in the near future. Pay could also improve significantly.

My wage does not feel like that of someone who works in the tech sector. It feels more like a "get in the door" wage.

My team is young and values proper engineering over "tactical solutions". Its important for engineers to put as much resistance as they can at projects that are stop-gap solutions. It may seem cheap to those selling the solutions...but it most definitely isn't.

Flexible hours, WFH (although that seems to be being phased put sadly), charity events. The ability to organise small events (like a end of week 1hr group game). Overall its the flexibility that makes the work bearable

Pay more. Give developers more responsibility. If you have someone making design decisions (such as software architects) and the team *is not present* that is *NOT* agile. Fundamentally. Not a single design decision should be made without the opportunity for the dev team to oppose it.
De quoi l’équipe de direction a-t-elle besoin pour s’améliorer?
If we don't innovate, we will be wiped out. AI is perfectly suited to automating the insurance sector as the input and output is a limited set of clearly defined data. There is no reason an AI couldnt calculate risk to a much higher accuracy than what is near impossible with traditional statistics.
