Work from office for Bangalore is the worst decision. It does not make any sense to come to office spending 4-5 hours on the road. We can use the same time productively at home working.. the LT should rethink this mandate.

Make sure that each new employee is involved with his team, has the opportunity to participate in the discussions. Has a basic knowledge of what is going around him, what other projects are?! just to feel as a part of his team and the company.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
"Work" never feels like the focus. Instead I'm prioritizing process or formalities or following a script or doing something bureacratic. I don't feel productive and I don't think anyone I work for feels like that's important.

Ensure managers understand work/life balance is important. Don't use the need to get a project over the line to overwork people. You are loosing quality, collegiality,. The company is changing in the wrong way with team members including managers supporting one another.

Less politics and more freedom as we are adults at the end of the day

My immediate manager is not letting me work an 8 hour day. Or that's the implication. If you want me to work more then 8 hours provide more incentives or increase salaries. Meetings are scheduled during lunch regularly with no thought to impact, too much micro-management.
