there is so much untapped potential here. We need either a dedicated COO or our CEO needs to step up and do the job. He can't continue to expect other dept leaders to solve the communication and collaboration problems if they are on the same level, so to speak. Someone has to make it happen.
Enjoy the people I work closest with.
DTO is by far the best.
Don't dread it, but not excited.
Vision for the future. Commitment to data consolidation.
my strategic team is wonderful, hardworking and efficient. My staff team is frustrating.
The people I work with everyday are smart, funny, likeable people. I enjoy interacting with them.
DTO is the best part. It isn't that I just want time off, but I appreciate not being tied to a certain number of days a year.
Too many fire drills. Too much misalignment between departments. It makes for frustrating days. Leadership needs to get every dept aligned and moving in the same direction.
Leadership has good intentions, mostly, and I appreciate that I genuinely believe I could reach out to anyone - CEO included - and get 1:1 time to discuss issues. That is very rare.
The people I work with the closest are wonderful - a solid 9/10 and I love working with them. People from other departments average a 4/5. Many of them either don't know what their job is, how to do their job or simply don't care to do their job. This makes my job harder.
