Madison College: Benefits are great at MATC, but it would be nice to have an open enrollment for the life insurance that the college offers when you're hired. Changes happen in life and when you're at the same employer for a while the decisions made previously may not fit the needs of your current life/needs.

Simply because I am considered an administrator I am classified lower than others doing similar work to me at the college.

Madison College: I've worked at 3 other smaller colleges/universities and this is by far the best for compensation, work-life balance, and work culture. Other places say they're inclusive, but here we have leaders and employees at all levels of many identities and backgrounds.

Casella Waste Systems: Customer service through communication. Different departments don't know what sales, service, billing is doing. It is impossible to talk to the same person twice so you end up repeating a concern multiple times only to have to call back and start over again.

Appian: Overall, it is a positive experience. The pace at Appian is faster than I am used to and the quality of the people is higher than average. Both of these are good things, but I am pushing myself to keep up. Occasionally I feel overwhelmed but I am confident I have the resources to overcome

Guidewire Software: I joined less than a year. I found the training time GW gives in the beginning very useful as it gives you time to learn the GW processes and way of working. You progress small and then you start getting more responsibilities till you feel comfortable in your role.
