Great people and fun challenges everyday. Low compensation given the work, roles, funding, time working, etc. Not everyone is happy due to lack of career advancement opportunities and low compensation. A significant number of people are leaving or seriously considering leaving because of this.

The opportunity to learn and grow is extremely exciting. Everyday, I feel that I am challenged with a new problem and learn something while working towards the solution. Collaborating with coworkers to tackle these challenges also contributes to a fun, engaging work environment.

Compensation in relation to other Bay Area companies appears low. Sila is a hardware company with higher operating costs and targets compensation within a higher percentage of similar industries, but hard work still feels undervalued when compared to high growth companies like Google, Apple, etc.
