It was more than a decade ago, so it may have changed, but it was pretty average.
Coworkers are awesome. We are all suffering together, so we always have something in common no matter how different we are!
Leadership needs to change. Current leadership couldn't be more out of touch with what is really happening. Morale is low, productivity is down (look at the stats). Jim Vena needs to come back to keep the operation from melting down any further.
Leadership really needs to connect with the front line, like really connect. They are absolutely insulated. Even when they get "live" questions via slido (as an example), they are absolutely filtered. 100% out of touch with the reality of what is happening in their own company.
Leaving work makes me the most happy. Unfortunately, that never happens. Now that we have migrated to Outlook and Teams, you are expected to have Teams installed on your phone so your management team and coworkers can send you instant messages around the clock - and they expect replies!!
Compensation is top notch, and you will be expected to exchange 100% of your life for it. Do not have any expectation of free time in any form once you are in management ranks. If you are okay with this, this is the place for you. You will be paid handsomely.
