Good interaction lot of fun
Local, Omaha is a pathetic clueless bubble... tellingrgus to spare a nickle while they lay around in expensive desks and conplain about their five star cafeteria.
Going home for the day
People pitch in to help each other and the company
My teammates and I trust each other
People try to be friendly
It is flexible with regard to hours and family time

Pension still exists for the time being.
coworkers is the only positive thing at the UPRR right now.

Trust in the management, treating direct reports with respect and an open discussion and feedback platform
Treat people like people. A little genuine honesty goes a long way.
reevaluate PSR. Look at the workload vs workforce and add back at least some of the staff that was cut. Reevaluate titles/levels. Most people are very bitter about working for decades to get where they were only to be knocked down 2-3 levels.
View and treat everyone as human and not a robot
New ceo who cares about people
Executives are so far removed from reality, every time they put out some PR- its painfully embarassing to hear them lie to us about our situation and lie to us and the customers about our service product.
Stop trying to fire everyone. Everyone should take accountability. Human decency
Fire the CEO and executives.

A feeling of value, not just a body to fill a need
Leadership amd less micromanagement, and no more ruling by fear.
Ability to talk to someone when you need help with fmla, insurance, medical leave, computer problems.
Get a real railroad man for CEO not a yes man accountant who is tearing the working structure of the railroad to the ground.
Leadership needs to change. Current leadership couldn't be more out of touch with what is really happening. Morale is low, productivity is down (look at the stats). Jim Vena needs to come back to keep the operation from melting down any further.
Stop the "us versus them" culture.

A new CEO that has the employee in mind not the share holder.

Get a whole new management team yesterday

The employees and the managers.
Stability of job and work schedule

Company is always cutting and making the jobs harder. Because we have less people to do the job its harder to do a quality job. If the company would look more a quality of the work environment and less at lining there pockets would be a start. You don't lay people off when making record profits
Review from Operations Dept
Management needs to treat employees like human beings instead of pieces of equipment that can be thrown in storage when not in use. Continual layoffs and job reductions have caused morale to plummet.
