As long as the Leadership Team keeps stock prices up. There is no issues, employees are expendable.
Scheduling, planning, leading, listening and providing needed equipment.
Document injuries and pay medical bills.
We are people with families and need time off to see them. Shareholders are more important than employees. They can't find enough people to apply because it's not worth the benefits. I understand they need to make profit but at what expense? We are worn out and underpaid.
Realizing that we are all human beings with lives and families.
Managing, every day is a train wreck
They constsntly are told by outsiders that the direction they want to go is not wise- but they do it anyway. Im not sure why they bring in unbiased third parties to tell them what we have been telling them for years. Toxic and retaliatory working envirornment.
Communication within the company is the worst. After 150+ years they still can't figure out how to railroad. Every management team has a different idea and approach. All these ideas conflict with one another.
Local leadership is screamed at and threatened by their manager/supervisor, and the cycle continues.
Treat employees better , not like worthless animals
Leading by example and actually seeing what is out there. Lazy self glorofied entitled clueless nitwits.
All be fired and replaced.

In the past 36 months the Union Pacific has created a model of “productivity”. This means cutting a job a dividing the responsibility to other and then repeat. The company preaches safety but has nearly abolished safety programs and safety person
Leadership really needs to connect with the front line, like really connect. They are absolutely insulated. Even when they get "live" questions via slido (as an example), they are absolutely filtered. 100% out of touch with the reality of what is happening in their own company.
