How long after an interview at Union Pacific Railroad does it take to hear back?

Agreement is yearly. Non-agreement is union personnel and they have to fight for years to get a new contract… it’s not competitive at all.
What is Union Pacific Railroad's internship program like?
It’s sad. Even the managers attached to them feel sad for them because they are so understaffed they can’t even properly show them what their day to day work life is or take time to really develop and mentor them. They are constantly putting out fires.
How are layoffs handled in the Operations department at Union Pacific Railroad?
With police escorting anyone laid off, off the property. Doesn’t matter if it’s a large group or one person. On MANY occasions the UP police will hand a box of the employees belongings to them- yep they went through and cleared out all their stuff for them, then walk them off the property. Sad when the UP cops regret their jobs (those that remain from layoffs and quitting)
How's the morale at Union Pacific Railroad?
Terrible. We are trying desperately to hire back employees we should have never laid off years ago- because the government recently demanded that we start servicing our customers and not the share holders (google it- it’s there for you to read) and no one wants to come back to the toxic work environment. As the employee say “this is the only place where you get fired for doing your job as they trained you to do it.”
Would like information on the UP’s fixed income program. (Retirement). Thank you
