    Not very. Very little investment going into R&D. If they need to ramp up in an area, they buy some small company, take their technology and fire all their employees.

  • Very innovative in beaurocracy

  • Not very. They copy what the vendors are doing and try to package them together using their buying power. All the offerings are behind the innovative curve.

    no one gets promoted, they double responsibilities without pay increases.

  • They say no. With all the "growth phase" talk, you can bet that it means another company will be bought and that you'll soon have to compete for your current job with some absorbed schmuck who wants to keep his. There is too much hustling to even consider promoting anyone.

  • Promotions are pretty rare. The important thing to know is that pay raises are not part of the promotion process. You will get more responsibility and do more work for the same salary. In theory you will be in an different pay band so you could make more money some day, but there hasn't been any pay raises for over 5 years.

    DXC has weaponized the concept of "unlimited vacation" to an incredible degree. They promote this (and the utter lack of pay hikes) as part of their progressive nature.

  • so what happens if your NOT a new employee and still your manager gives you 2 weeks vacation? and where can I find this vacation policy that you get 2 weeks. is that from corporate or what the management states you get.

    Good question. I wouldn't work here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. As of this writing, the CEO has a 28/100 score and an F for culture score. Perks and benefits are C-. Office Culture is a D+. Team is D. Manager is D-... you do the math. RUN!

  • Don't. Don't come here. You will regret it. There is nothing good about this place.

  • Don't, unless you're either desperate or new to the industry and need some skills to pad your resume. DXC does not do pay-raises (unless you're Upper Management, of course), and doesn't really care about its employees (there's practically monthly layoffs, at this point). In short, avoid working for DXC if at all possible.

    you are trained by the person you will eventually replace. How do think that goes?

  • They need interns because they're cheap and can follow directions for low pay. I wouldn't call this a good internship program. You won't be asked to innovate. You'll follow instructions. Look elsewhere.

  • This might exist in New York or India, but nothing like that were I am.

    It's the worst part of the story. You agree for a particular designation while joining but all of a sudden they would change it to something weird which has nothing to do your work profile. After that it would never be changed - you keep writing mails after mails to manager/HR people. They don't care - you would never get any reply. If you call or send any message to any HR people for any help/suggestion, they would never reply. Their status appears always 'busy'. If you go to their seat for asking something, either (1) they would not be at their seat, OR (2) they would not speak to you saying they are busy, OR (3) they would be having tea/coffee/lunch. They will give their phone numbers in their mail to call them up while necessary, but if you do so, they would never pickup your call,

  • They don't handle issues, they are swept under the carpet. They have breached my contract and refuse to admit it.

  • What HR? Try to contact them. HR is 4 executives and a bunch of online Q&A documents. Its horrendous.

  • There are no outing at Dxc, that cost money, be happy if you get coffee at the office

    Deminishing benefits. They will do whatever they can to take benefits away, every year, until you have nothing that resembles the benefits you were hired with. They replace benefits with crappier health plans and poorer 401k options, until all that remains are options you don't want (or, for health plans, the ones you want are so expensive, it doesn't make sense). This is not about the government regulations, DXC saves money on YOUR benefits by swapping plans out for worse ones. Vacation? There is no vacation accrual. They tell you to take all the time you need, but psychologically, you'll compete, out of performance fear, with your peers, thus taking less..

  • There are no real benefits. Seniority and service years are not recognized at all. there is no plan visible to introduce this either. Bonuses are mystery.

  • Shuttle for commuting from home to office while working in odd shifts ( night shift, or to work late in the evening ) ,

  • The company closed my office and directed everyone who still had a position to work from home. The biggest perk is that pets are welcome in my home office and have the important job of office morale support leader. We also have a well stocked break room (AKA my kitchen).

  • Ok when you start. But that's also your pay 5 years later.

  • Stagnant. For literally years.

  • Below industry average, no merit, and empty promises. They even "make" you train constantly, just to keep your current pay that gets whittled away by inflation. No promotions, and they won't change your title either, so that hurts you in the market too.

  • Wear street clothes, because that's where you'll find yourself as soon as you start making too much money at DXC. Save yourself and cancel the interview, this company is a mess. Another option is to dress like everyone else, because there's no difference between your number (your identifier in the company) and someone else's number. Confused? Don't be. You're just a number in this company with other numbers attached (your pay/salary that is higher than someone else's pay). There is no individualism here. Either fit the model (a confused and convoluted one) and stay in your lane (cave/hole/corner), or you're out. Again, cancel the interview and save yourself.

    Every day you don't get fired

  • The end of the day- which is usually after an 11 hour shift. Then I get to go to 2nd job because DXC has not given many raises in 10 years. I have received a total 1.5% over 10 years. And I have exceeds expectation every review.

    never if you are in US and not a level 2 (VP) or above.

  • Never. Haven't happened for 5 years to even the best rated people. These days they just repeat some drivel that justifies why no raises can happen. It's all BS. We make $25B a year ... CEO got $24M before the merger (1.25 x current size)... there's money, but the stock-price needs to go up and shareholders need a dividend. Why pay employees when we can line the pockets of executives and shareholders.

  • Unsure. No internal job postings. No promotion tracks established to work towards. Very difficult for average employee in us to grow. Most get let go.

  • if you are a US citizen - null and void. If you want to work for the CEO's bonus and want to get paid peanuts than growth could be unlimited

  • At DXC your career growth is in unpaid leave and unpaid overtime, and managements mantra is for the employees to: Do more for Les pay
