  • Everything is automated. So you won't talk to many people except during the actual interview. It's very impersonal.

  • they force a review process on you which means nothing as there is no incentive for raises. The US was to make bonus last year until Lawrie (CEO) adjusted goals to prevent that from happening.

  • What feedback process If it's a problem hush it down

  • we're supposed to do reviews twice a year. most people don't bother. There's no point. if you do well, you won't get a raise or bonus. there's no incentive.

  • I am challenged everyday. Do my best to limit Xanax to one a day.

  • How can you be challenged when you are not even allowed the cost for a certificate And if you're pc is older than 5-6 year you might get a new one

  • there are challenging projects, but the corporate inertia and "do it the same as we've always done" make any good projects very painful. you are not allowed to improve processes.

  • Chances are low, as they keep cancelling previously approved requisitions. For me as a manager very difficult. In our country it can take months to find the right candidate, once found the Req is closed because it is too old.

  • Poor. My Dentist even told me they hate dealing with some of the provider options. I ended up paying for the one they liked the best. DXC doesn't provide good benefits anymore.

  • Pretty awful.

  • What is PTO?

  • They still have minimal holidays. They still accrue sick time that has no value at separation. Vacation doesn't exist. They tell you to take all the time you need, but trust me, managers will use time off to pair you against your peers for performance ratings. It doesn't really matter for merit, since there is none, but when you get a lower rating, you'll be cut first with the WFR/RIF comes. You'll know/feel this as an employee, and the company knows this too. They want that fear.. so you'll take less vacation. Plus, when you separate, DXC has no vacation to pay you, thus saving the company more money. Other companies abandoned this practice many years ago..

  • DXC's internal it cost money so it is handled by the cheapest staff in the world, and it is a bonus if they can speak English or have knowledge of IT

  • What it team. A functional it department costs money. The only thing Dxc can do is cut cost In the last two years Dxc have let 43000 employees go

  • Finding a new job and getting out of here. It is worse than jail.

  • Some of the tech divisions are working on some really great innovations. DXC is made up of a lot of divisions that work on a variety of projects across a multitude of industries. There is not cohesive "what it's like at DXC" - it's all dependent on which division, which location, which project, etc. In my office, we're in the middle of trying to update policies and procedures, and there is a slight glimmer of hope that we can move our office into this century.
