Q&A With DXC Technology Employees

Asked to all employees at DXC Technology

  • willingness to work for peanuts

  • Manage to speak your own name

  • Personality and culture fit will likely be most important to you in the long run. I recommend being yourself - be honest, and be clear. Be prepared - know your goals, strengths and weaknesses. Have questions for the interviewer about the office culture and expectations. There are things you want to know - like how the position contributes to the success of the company or what challenges one might face in the position. What qualities will make an employee in this position successful or unsuccessful? You want to know if the position is a good fit for you, and you can also use their answers to explain why you are a good fit for the position and team.

  • fire the CEO, COO, HR VP and start over

  • Fire ALL THE EXECUTIVES and place some real value back into the hands of the technologists that do all the work.

  • I would have more breaks (scheduled, or maybe optional) for the Service Desk employees, or maybe have food catered more often. I'd bring back the annual Customer Service Week celebration, too.

  • A polished resume so you can leave quickly.

  • Learning to deal with unhappy, unmotivated, emotionally beaten people who used to be happier before the company became DXC. Every time Lawrie or your executives hold an all-hands meeting, the cycle of depression starts all over again.

  • They don't fight too hard to keep you once you decide to quit.

  • I can't think of one. Maybe that they tout that they used to be CSC, and HPE Enterprise Services (f.k.a EDS, f.k.a Perot systems). Those companies and cultures are long gone from the company structure and DXC is slowly replacing all the people too.

  • Why do you want to work here? .. which is really a warning, or a legitimate question from the interviewers. They have no idea why you would want to work at DXC? They're trying to help you using coded language.

  • The most difficult was to help the interviewer to understand the question sheet

Asked to the Business Development Department at DXC Technology

  • Very poor treatment to the employees who were laid off. They even don't wait till the month end, would call the employee on any date of the month and let him/her know that it is his/her last working day and salary for this month would be given to that particular date only. As they don't give any chance to employees even to submit proof regarding income tax saving, finally the poor employee has to pay huge income tax unnecessarily. Terrible culture - the manager/HR people would chase you in every hour enquiring if the company assets have been returned or not as if you are running away doing a crime. Horrible.

  • Like all layoffs by the company, poorly and without any regard for the employee. You can be a 1 year employee or have 20 years tenure, you're treated the same, pay you what they owe you to date and tell you to hit the road.

Asked to all employees at DXC Technology

  • Never. "Progressive companies have abandoned the idea of yearly hikes" is the official line. It's all merit based. I pushed, with the support of my manager, his manager AND the division manager to get a merit increase, and it was denied. It's easier and less stressful to set aside any expectations of compensation increases.
