Purpose, collaboration with team members, working smarter not harder
Less politics, more transparency on plans and budgets, less lip service in the townhalls and actual actions to improve things. Care about people, genuinely, with appropriate actions. Not just emails, procedures, and empty townhall promises. Walk the talk.
Pull their weight in the teams, be constructive. Do not hide behind processes and wait to be told what to do. Assume the responsibilities for their roles and own the activities and the outcomes. Making mistakes is part of learning and growth, accept that and be constructive.
Equity between roles, correct market comp ratio and not the ridiculous numbers we got in the November merit review. People are not just numbers in a spreadsheet that needs to be reconciled and balanced with the budget. Rigidity in applying the new methodology needs to be re-assessed with the reality
It is sad, but I do not have one anymore. It used to be great, people used to connect and work and grow together. Now it is all corporate. Yes, we have more documentation, more policies, everything that is needed to scale. But we are disconnected, globally distributed, in a cost containment world.
