They really seem to care about the people under them
You are able to act like a human being around customers.
I was just part time so I didn't get benefits but stock options for part timers like starbucks has would've been a plus
JJ's is just a bit too stingy in certain areas. They also get very little night business outside of bar areas. They should improve their targeted marketing and add certain quality of life enhancements to stores to entice customers (Napkin dispensers, TV's, Etc.)
Everyone was down to earth and cared about the safety of those around them. Except for two employees, I liked everyone on the team, and one of the two I disliked was quickly fired for things other companies would not have fired them for.
The interview came about because of a funny incident which occurred before I worked there, and the manager was very casual and gave me lots of leeway about how quickly I needed certain papers and I never felt forced to take the process overtly seriously.
