Support for living a balanced life
The technical support staff at LBNL are poorly compensated, therefore poorly motivated.
They need to advocate for their workers, especially when it comes to pushing back against the HR Compensation for better wages for the people who work for them
The compensation for tech support staff is very poor and they do not reward for years of experience, rather the managers tend to say that your pay depends upon how long you have worked at LBNL. For people in my job code there is no clear career path and no clear way to achieve even modest growth
