Upper Management seemed to be motivating and caring for their people. Training Program was second to none when I was there and it's what made Orkin number 1 in the industry. However, when they went from Liquid Termite Treatment to Bait and Targeted Liquid Treatment, sales became more difficult.

The Branch Manager was on top of things, but i entered right when the structure of the Branches had changed to a Central Admin Dept. Took the Admin from the branches and started a cluster. No cell phones, no pagers, difficult to get through on the phone system at the time...

Everyone seemed to be motivated and on the same page which was imperative for the success of this type of company. Sales relied on Service to take care of accounts or commission was lost. I always took lunch out to techs on big termite jobs and they alwasy took care of me.
