Family Dollar Stores: The people are great. It's just insane that they don't give breaks to employees. Rest breaks should be required for any shift lasting 5+ hours, and Assistant Managers working 7+ hours should be given at least two rest breaks. Working freight constantly requires rest breaks.
Dollar Tree: stared working at wauseon ohio dollar tree, my first paycheck was not deposited. the store manager couldn't tell me if is was pay week, she said she didn't even know and not any help fixing the problem. very disappointed with management

Nationwide Children's Hospital: I work in the IT department and there are so many meetings throughout the day, we no longer have any lunch time. When I raised concerns about this, I was told NCH is not required to give any lunch or break time. They will also not pay for the extra time worked.
Agilent Technologies: Poor. They make promises they don't keep. Micromanaging is what I have seen in at least 6 managers. Very little potential for career growth once your in a position do not expect to go anyway else no matter what they say. They usually mislead people into believing theres a future career path.

I have been embarrassed by management behavior countless of times in front of customers and treated poorly by management.

Quest Diagnostics: Took over our lab at the beginning of the year. Six months in and my health insurance is still not active. The HR reps are useless. There is hardly any PTO and zero contact with anyone in a position of authority. We signed a two year contract and everything is changing six months in.Bad company!

Guitars listed in stock that truly aren't and they will gladly authorize payment indefinitely, ship damaged and broken gear from a store that is listed as new. Pathetic.

AutoNation: This is such a terrible company. They only care about profits and making money. They don't care about their customers or their employees.
Stericycle: Terrible leadership at the executive level. The use of fear, intimidation and humiliation are not tools of successful leaders. The leaders are not open to feedback and they just want to do everything the way their former company did stuff. They lack original thought and are one-sided.

Camping World: I am new and everyone helps me understand everything correctly and completely. Ver very nice. Not to mention I watch the CEO on the profit.
Google: Smart, kind, creative, open, transparent
Ascension: Initially great, then over the years I see us moving backwards not forwards in comparison to our competitors. I am frustrated by our inability to move faster, and we put up more internal barriers than break them down in our hiring process. Retention is a buzz word but I see nothing changing.
Amazon: There is no interview. As long as you pass the background check and drug test, you're hired.
GE Healthcare: A great place to learn and grow if you stay away from politics which exist everywhere

REI: REI markets itself as a progressive and ethical company but is really just as corporate as any other big business. The employee pay scale in their retail stores is unethical.
American Airlines: CEO seems like a sincere and decent guy but is ineffective. Sr leadership has been about stable since merger and things continue to get worse. Every year there's a new flash in the pan focus and every summer they institute a short term panic plan because they don't fix operational fundamentals.

REI: I work in customer service taking calls. I thoroughly enjoy 98% of my job. The 2% I don't enjoy are the verbally abusive customers and the lack of support from my immediate manager in how to deal with these situations.

Circle K: I used to love working for them but im a single mother and the pay was not enough to survive. With all my experience and compliments customer service and abc board certified. I should be at 16 an hour if not more. Cefco offers that. I was a store assistant. Working my tail and never got much.
Renown Health: I'm excited to work for a company that deliberately makes people feel important and valued.
Ascension: Overall, my experience has been positive. I have experienced personal growth, opportunities to be a change agent and to impact results. I feel I have a voice and my voice is heard. I appreciate a shared leadership model and continued opportunities to learn and grow.
