Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores: I have driven a truck for over 10 years. I prefer Loves over other locations. I park overnight at least 2 times a week at the Love's in Ormond Beach (#316). The General Manager (Garrett Gremminger) is exceptional. He is very Courteous, Hospitable and Professional to his employees and customers.
KFC: managers need to show up for work and stay at the work place until closing time

We have no control over products, textbooks, marketing, etc. It has made it impossible to service our customers successfully. The store only has one full time employee which makes it impossible to do all the tasks needed

Alkami Technology: People culture is great on the fluffy stuff - swag, events, etc. and teammates are kind. But, actual collaboration to solve difficult problems is political, self preservation mode. This stems from CEO pressure on ELT and down. Need true collaboration, trust, support to solve hard things together.

Upper level company management seems capricious and had large layoffs in 2024.

O'Reilly Auto Parts: Management is on the gravy train they only show up when they feel like it they crossed the line on labor laws all the time your pay is subpar for the industry
Cambridge Mobile Telematics: Working at CMT is a fulfilling experience, the mission is clear and the purpose is strong. Safe driving should be at the forefront of anyone that has ever gotten behind the wheel or even within a moving vehicle. Plus the culture is pretty close to perfect.

Target: Little training and few resources to complete tasks. A lot of working in different areas than what you were hired as or what the schedule says you'll be doing. However, if you can find good team leads and ETL's they will help you.
ROBLOX: Creativity and authenticity the way your team works together although some changes to the platform damage the goal of connecting everyone and some updates decrease child safety. Something else that bothers me is the fact your a multi billion dollar company and still have lots of hackers/exploters.

And having more tranparent talks with their employees about growth. I dont see people who actually put effort being valued in the company at all.

The people and culture are excellent, but compensation remains a concern. I hope the new leadership team addresses this issue in the India office.
