The paid for short and long-term disability and basic life insurance is such a relief. I came from front-line/primary care healthcare where we had to pay for every individual thing separately, it is so welcomed.

My manager being understanding and emotionally intelligent has been the best culture shift. American businesses and healthcare are incredibly ableist and seem content letting us work ourselves to burnout or worse. Having an employer that cares about their employees is a relief.

My team is work from home and use Teams soley. We are allowed to be ourselves and we feel comfortable with each other to ask questions, reach out, and be silly with each other. I enjoy not having inner-office politics and the stress of being in office. I have the best of all options.
