It was fair 20 years ago, I wouldn't say that about today.
Honesty, transparency, actually living up to their stated commitment of a nondiscriminatory workplace for women and older workers.
Actions taken to protect the company or save money is not recognized by senior management. After 20 years, stock options annually as part of compensation would be nice.
Senior teams needs to be overhauled and the company needs to get back to the basics of operating trains and serving customers rather than manage an operating ratio that has nothing to do with service, safety, or employee engagement.
CEO needs to go immediately, employees need to have work life balance, employees should be promoted on the basis of merit not because they fit a civil right profile or because they tell senior management what they want to hear and not what is actually going on within their departments.
