
It depends on your month’s performance. If you’re doing well, maybe once a month. If you’re doing poorly, it can be quite a few times a month along with several emails explaining your daily experiences and how you plan to improve or overcome challenges and obstacles. Can become a bit draining and overwhelming at times.
Review process has moved to once annually, and it feels more like a formality and seldom ties in with the feedback I get from my manager the rest of the year.
In my department we have annual reviews. For me it has always been a positive experience.
