Overall experience is good, unless positions open up on very specific teams though, there isn't really anywhere for me to move up though. With that said, I am happy with the role I am in for the most part.
Learning and being challenged each day.
Being financially secure and knowing my family is well taken care of.
Eager to get me up to speed on our product and data structure.
When I get to write code to automate a task or scripts for various bulk work activities.
Leadership provides a very clear direction of where Aura as a company is heading, including on the engineering side with new features being developed.
Compared to the last company I worked at, I feel leadership at Aura communicates clearly on their roadmap, honest about current issues, and vision going forward.
Salary, and the health benefits, which are both affordable, but actually good health coverage compared to my last employer, which was also a Software Company, but in a different sector.
From the members on my team, and other teams that I have interacted with, I get the feeling that everyone wants the company to succeed, and fix issues with the product promptly and accurately.
I have Autism, so being able to work from home in an environment I am comfortable in and not around a lot of noise, office traffic, or large groups and how well Aura works as a remote company is a HUGE benefit for me.
We're a small team and everyone of us on my team is always willing to jump in and help each other out, whether covering for vacations or appointments, or providing more information on a topic one of us might not be as well knowledgeable in.
