Take on ownership. There is a sense of passing the buck to someone else rather than taking ownership to assist and accomplish a task for our clients.
We hire associates that do not have prior work experience and ask them to do the work without prior knowledge or experience. We hire managers who have never been managers in their career and lack the leadership comp.
