Hold leaders accountable for things rather than expect them to burn some scapegoat. A culture of fear helps noone. Hire leaders not MBA sycophants and empower employees to make decisions and take calculated risk. Stop trying to build a Cadillac with VW parts (it doesn't work), you get what you pay for. Treat your employees and customers with respect. You have nickel and dimed employees long enough. Time to start investing in your workforce and share the success. Benefits are just no longer competitive.
Nothing to do but improve. Brutal honesty about rif'ing people just so execs can keep bonuses and buy a Porsche while saying they appreciate us and understand our struggles while laying off with reckless abandon. Doing everything to cut costs with taking away resources that help us work efficiently and demanding HIGHER results with less people. I would rather work in hell.
Empower people, less micromanagement and group decision making. Resources aren't allocated well and there is very little investment in the future. It has been nickel and diming employees for years and continues to be a culture of squeeze everything you can out of people.
We just have been largely stagnant for more than a decade despite stock and company value skyrocketing it's demoralizing when you watch good people leave and the people left behind are expected to pick up the slack for the same wage
Force the execs out to listen to the voice of their constituents. Reinstate executive involvement in sponsoring sites and teams. Determine the morale issues and address solutions in lieu of acknowledging their existance
I would do my best to improve morale. I would give back holiday dinners, give out ham or turkey at Christmas and Thanksgiving or gift cards.
Actually create an environment where the employee feels appreciated and valued. Recognition for contribution and accomplishment beyond work group
Value people and contribution. look for ways to improve morale in a workforce that feels under valued
Bring back the work from home policies. Bring jobs back to America. Offer better benefits
I would make the policies apply to ALL people. Not just to the unfavorable.
I would remove troublemakers and liars. Remove the CI program Remove the Conditions and Behaviors
treat people like they are a person not a pair of working hands.
More emphasis on recognizing top performers, create social interactions to build teams.
Start by remembering that our most important asset are our people.
I would terminate a few supervisors, Leads, and the Personal manager
Return to Peopke being our most important product
