Overall the benefits are around average. The pay is below average. The work I personally do is amazing and I have amazing opportunities to improve and and develop on my skills. Other offers that would make me leave MISUMI: higher pay, better benefits, remote work, unlimited PTO for same work.
Paid market value for my skills
They are very organized and innovative.
Staying busy solving difficult problems
Invested in the employees and host a lot of events to socialize.
This marketing guy is so clueless. He expects us to do his work....
Group events and lunches. We understand each other's roles and are willing to help.
I have turned down 2 job offers in the last year that are offering 10%
Getting to do my own projects that are challenging and enable me to learn new things.
Everyone is super nice and there are plenty of opportunities to get to know each other and hang out at company held events.
Most are intelligent. Some seem like the last choice; a body needed to fill a position, but they seem to do an okay job. Very social group though.
The pay is average when compared to other companies. They do not offer education assistance or parental leave. The PTO is only 3 weeks and that includes sick days. WFH policy could be better. Difficult to move up and get a salary increase.
The work load I do now is way more than my previous role and I have a much lower salary. This job is better and the company is better, but I am still missing that extra pay that I was getting for much less responsibilities.
