With the contract not being renewed "yet", the uncertainty about work is very taxing. So my confidence of having a job is not high. The communication with supervision here is terrible. Supervision here shows little to no concern for instructors. The hypocrisy with supervision is blatant.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Within my work space it was wonderful and satisfying. PKL provided me the opportunity to stabilize my personal life and that was very important to me. There was a draw down in the company and the site Manger did a lot lying about the selection process and he is not qualified for that position.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is not much to like.

The medical is outstanding! It's the best I've had in the contracting world.

Nothing. There's only one that show that he cares. His name is Otto McElvain.

We are all in the same, "boat" so the support from the co-workers is very important.

There are some that genuinely care about our students, and it's a pleasure working with those instructors

When I'm not having to see management. Then the joy of see8ng my students grow and learn.

My inter-action with my students. I'm vested with their progress and future. This brings great joy to what I do.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The RSAF run the company, not PKL management. It's a negative environment with the current RSAF commander. There's too many things to list on how the RSAF make the environment negative. It's like they want to see PKL fail.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
How the economy is and with the way inflation is rising we/I should be given at least a "cost of living" increase. Additionally, an annual raise should occur, because of the location and the hardships we experience while working away from our families.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing the sense of accomplishment from my students when I have taught them something. Watching their growth in the academics of what I teach. Not having to deal with the, "white shirts" (Supervision). Most of them show little to no interest or care about me.
