I've developed strong work relationships - I know who I can ask for help and who will be there and deliver. There are some teams that aren't as willing to go above and beyond to help outside of their workload, but it's not as common.
The team is decisive and really digging into the choices of the present and past to make sure they fit the strategic needs of the business in the near term. There is more clarity around objects and the expected outcomes and what is being prioritized to drive the business forward.
My compensation is below competitive market salaries. I do feel like the benefits are good - the discretionary time off and some amount of schedule flexibility are really big assets. There is a lot of autonomy and ability to affect the business, which is what has made up for the compensation so far.
