Smith quickly felt like a place I could see myself long term. As this was my first job out of University, I was prepared to no stay with my first job and explore other options. It didn't take me long to realize I have a place at Smith long term. Smith is family.

I feel valued by my coworkers, managers and Executive team but my compensation doesn't show it.

They are relatable and understandable, as they started from the bottom and worked hard to be where they are today.

Talking to my coworkers in the office but also interacting with my colleagues in other offices on calls, teams meetings, teams chats.

I find that the majority of our employees are very motivated and bring great energy to the office. The positive energy is contagious and creates the tone for the whole office.

The leadership team doesn't create a hierarchical power in balance, they treat others below their leadership position with respect and equal value. They create a positive environment where I feel comfortable approaching them with new ideas or for help.

I look forward to speaking with my team everyday, they are a joy to work with. I also have a diverse tenured team, allowing me to look up to those with more experience and relate to the ones working through similar challenges.

I love the people I work with, it's a joy to pick up the phone and talk with Smith colleagues. I also enjoy the casual work environment, it allows me to be comfortable to work my long hours. Smith is also very understanding, I am not afraid to take time off, or notify my boss if I am sick.
