9 years, and it took two of working with constant hostility, resentment, mistreatment, doing jobs at underwage, afraid of management. Leaving the company would only prolong the misery of everyone who works there. So, here's my attempt at bringing you into the situation you have created.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The regular employees are awesome, the management is horrible and hostile. It's a shame to waste good employees. No one wants to work here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Treat us as people, not horrible children. If we teach good behavior, show good behavior, good things will happen. Your company stifles that. If everyone is afraid of the managers, pay for mistakes out of pocket in order to avoid the managers, you have a problem. No doubt this will go nowhere.
