My experience at Awardco has been overwhelmingly positive. You can feel the momentum that the company has, and it makes it an exciting place to be. There are still growing pains and areas for improvement, but with a product and management as good as they've got, I expect things to keep improving.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Awardco seems to hire great people who are capable and dedicated, and who also are simply just genuinely good people. My team is fun to be around, very helpful, and great at getting things done.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
With Awardco growing so fast, the leadership team is filled with many people who were recently promoted and have an extremely good understanding of what it's like to "start from the bottom," which allows them to be great leaders.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a young company that has been scaled through bootstrapping and not VC, Awardco understandably cannot compensate quite as well as other tech companies in the area. However, as the company continues to scale, hopefully the compensation and benefits will improve as well.
