As a young company that has been scaled through bootstrapping and not VC, Awardco understandably cannot compensate quite as well as other tech companies in the area. However, as the company continues to scale, hopefully the compensation and benefits will improve as well.

There's not an equal pay structure across the same role. New hires can be paid more than those with seniority and proven experience. There's no visibility to bonus when you get them.

There is a lot of talk about growth in the company, but a lot of pressure to stay in current roles. There are also lots of promises delivered with little to no follow through. Benefits are minimal. There is unlimited PTO, but it is pretty strongly frowned upon to actually utilize this perk.
