What did you like most about the interview process?
Questions are the same for every candidate, so it feels very fair and it's also a reasonable amount of work to prepare for.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership could benefit from listening to their hard-working, well-informed employees about risks and opportunities rather than chasing the whims of the Wall Street trends-of-the-moment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My good co-workers are simply amazing, and I would go to the wall for them. (Alas, it will probably come to that with this next round of lay-offs....)
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with solid individuals who are both smart, innovative, and also compassionate. Yes, there are some co-workers here who are not always well-intentioned, but those who are have been some of the best co-workers I have ever had at any job.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Boeing has cut too many people with necessary institutional knowledge, which has led to some painful "escapes" in quality that have earned the company a bit of a black eye in recent years. The best way to improve would be to stop going through such deep cuts to personnel as often as they do.
